UPDATE 7/7/13
Update 5/31: After reviewing the book, I think I have done 45 hikes! 

I do not have pictures of all of the 42 hikes I've previously done but I do have quite a few.  

• # 3 Cowee Creek Downstream to Echo Cove
• I think this is the trail to Echo Ranch

  Out at Echo Ranch- a very fun place to be.  It is where Becoming and Outdoor Woman retreat is held.  Women can learn kayaking, wildlife viewing, edible plants, cooking, orienteering, chainsaw, and so much more 
• 4 Point Bridget State Park Trail 

 

Headed out to Cowee or Blue Mussel  

• #7 Cedar Lake Trail 

 

• Not sure where to put these but these are taken at Blue Mussel Cabin- a really beautiful spot.
  

The first group camping trip that started the tradition! 

• #8 North Bridge Cove Trail 

• #6 Trapper's Trail- which I think is the end of Camping Cove- which is one of our favorite cabins to camp!

One time we were there the waves were huge!  

• Eagle Glacier Cabin (sort of #21- have not made it to the Glacier tho)

We have tried to actually get to the Glacier twice, crossing back and forth, but no luck!

• #27  Peterson Lake Trail- have gone twice.  The 2nd time was HARDer than Eagle- and that is saying something!

 

1st camping trip ever! (in Juneau) 3/10

 Been there a few times- with the rents and for Girls on the Run.  

• #35 Lena Point Trail AKA Secret Spot- I love this spot

• #37 Auke Village Recreation Area Trails- AKA Auke Rec Elementary- my 2nd most favorite spot! 

• #40 Spaulding Meadows Trail

•  #41 Auke Nu Trail - John Muir Cabin

 

• #43 Auke Lake Trail 

• #44 University of Alaska Student Housing Trail

• This one is really cool- it is right by our house and on top there is a helicopter landing pad.

• This is one of our favorites to take the dog to.

 A good trail to take pics of bears and fish!

• #66 East Glacier Loop Trail AKA the trail of 200 and some stairs

• Nugget Creek Trail 
• We've gone on the trail a couple times when we first got here 5 years ago but I can't find any pics.  The trail is pretty cool with washed away bridges and the like.  
• #73 Airport Dike/Mendenhall Wetlands- again we go on this trail a lot.

I don't have a picture of the trail but it is quite neat with old abandoned buildings...kinda Blair Witch Project  

Sandy Beach is a great place to take the dog...and its the only beach...with actual sand!

Only been there once but is a really beautiful spot!

The cool wooden bridge that takes you to Perseverance and Mt. Roberts trails.

• #122 Bishop Point/Dupont Trail 

I've been out to Dupont- great tent camping spot! 

As you can see there are more than 90 trails.  Some are really short (like 500 feet) or road access trails.  My main goal is to hit the big ones, like some Summits!

Perhaps someone can help me with these trails on which number they go under because I am sure that they should be in the book somewhere.
