Summit Time! 

 

The trail head, on the side of old Glacier Highway.

 

Here we go!

1 mile down- of mud and skunk cabbage.

 I'm making this face because the mile was a bit hard and it was the easiest!

It opened up into a nice little meadow!

My doggie- patiently waiting for me.  She is the bestest dog! She would come back to check on me to see if I was still coming and then hike with me for encouragement!
