- #113 The Flume
7/2/13
The Flume is a nice, short boardwalk trail downtown near Perseverance and Mt. Robert's Trails. It was a nice after brunch walk before the rest of the day festivities.

There is a large wooden pipe that carries water from Gold Creek to a power plant. This area is very active for avalanches and in the winter of 1971-72, the snow avalanched down Mount Juneau and filled the valley floor, and stopped up the side of Mount Maria.
